1. Manage Screen Brightness

2. Shorten Screen Timeout

3. Audit Your Background App Activity

4. Tame Your Location Services

GPS is power-hungry. Review which apps have "always on" location access and switch most of them to "only while using the app." Weather, maps, and ride-sharing apps need location — most others don't.

  1. Avoid charging to 100% constantly. Keeping your battery between 20–80% is gentler on lithium-ion chemistry. Both iOS and Android now offer "optimized charging" settings — enable them.
  2. Don't let it drain to 0% regularly. Deep discharges stress the battery.
